The data in the Virtual Regatta game are exactly those displayed in our instruments (the instrument bar on the right of the screen: Boat speed, Heading, Wind speed, Wind angle, Sail, Stamina, etc.), as we are connected to their server in real time. It’s this initial data that’s taken into account for routing calculations. To compare them, simply tap the red “boat” button to center the map on your boat, then compare the information in the instruments with that of VR. If the isochrones of a routing are displayed (Expert mode), the instruments show instead the values of that routing at the timeline time, in the color of the routing: hide the isochrones to get the boat’s values back. The only (minor) discrepancies are due to rounding.
