In two words: be patient!
When you tap the red “+” button at the bottom right of the map, the application searches the Internet for a certain amount of information to make sure that all its data is up to date. If these requests are slow, a waiting indicator (a spinning circle) is shown.
Requests can be slow for two main reasons:
- a large number of players are loading weather GRIB files at the same time;
- your Internet connection is slow.
You don’t have to do anything, just be patient: it can sometimes take around thirty seconds. The button is also greyed out while a routing is being calculated; the “Cancel routing” button, at the top of the map, stops that calculation.
