The race analysis

The essentials

For some races we publish an analysis on the website. When one exists for the open race, a “Race analysis” button appears in the left panel, just under the race picture.

The Race analysis button

Tapping it opens in your browser the website page for that race:

• for a record: the best starts, that is the most interesting start times according to the forecasts;
• for the other races: the options advisor, which helps you choose which options to buy in Virtual Regatta.

The button does not appear when the website has no analysis for the open race.

Going further

List refresh. The app reads the list of published analyses at launch and then every hour. An analysis published while the app is running therefore appears within an hour at most.

A record that has not started. To run a routing on a record whose boat has not left yet, the “Record start time” window also offers a “Best starts” button when the analysis exists: it opens the same page.

Language. The page opens in the language of the app, with the race identifier in the address.

Access. These website pages are for now only reachable from the app: they have no menu entry.
